DIY Cold Pack
Make your own cold packs for frequent icing.
Here's an easy way to keep multiple ice packs ready for use. All you need is water, rubbing alcohol, and our sturdy leak proof bags included with each product. Follow this table to mix the best ratios of water and alcohol and make sure your freezer is set to 0 degrees F (-18C) for best results.
Bag Size | Water (oz) | Rubbing Alcohol (oz) | Total (oz) |
6x6 | 12 | 2 | 14 |
6x8 | 15 | 3 | 18 |
6x10 | 22 | 4 | 26 |
8x10 | 28 | 6 | 34 |
- Mix together the appropriate amounts of water and isopropyl alcohol
- Pour mixture into the leak proof bag
- Squeeze out all the air
- Seal the bag closed
- Place in your freezer for at least 4 hours
These ratios will result in a firm slush when completely frozen. Form it according to your needs and place it in the sleeve. Use caution as this cold pack gets very cold!
